Ministries, churches and teachers get impersonated. A verified badge tells your readers which account is actually yours.
Seed Scroll has confirmed this account belongs to the person or ministry it represents. That is the entire claim.
We are not vouching for anyone's teaching, doctrine or conclusions. Verification is about identity, and nothing else.
An account without a badge is not suspicious. Almost no account has one, because almost no one has asked — and we never label an account as unverified.
A role shown under a name — Pastor, Author, Scholar — is a description of someone's work, not part of what the badge confirms. We only apply one when public work supports it.
At least 1,000 followers or subscribers on one public platform of your own — YouTube, Facebook, or somewhere comparable. A single platform, not several added together.
A registered church or nonprofit with a public address and a website. No audience minimum at all — a congregation of forty qualifies.
We also ask that the ministry has been going for at least a year, measured on the ministry itself rather than on your Seed Scroll account. A pastor who joined last week with a five-year-old channel is exactly who this is for.
One thing we do not do is assess doctrine. If a ministry publicly presents itself as Christian or Bible-teaching, that is the test. Anything stricter would make us the arbiter of what counts as biblical, and every rejection would read as a ruling on someone's faith.
Your Seed Scroll username, a link to your channel or site, and which of the two paths above applies.
By email, to the address you give us.
In your channel description, a pinned post, or a link back to your Seed Scroll profile from your official site. This is the actual proof — it shows both that the ministry is real and that you are the one running it.
Usually within a few days. Everything else we verify is already public: follower counts, how long a channel has existed, a nonprofit registration.
We do not ask for your ID. A photo of a driver's licence proves a person exists, not that they run a ministry — the code in your channel proves far more, and it means we are not holding your documents.
If we turn a request down we will tell you why, and you can reply and ask us to look again. Verified accounts are reviewed from time to time, and a badge can be removed if a ministry closes or an account changes hands.
