No AI feature searches the web or browses the internet. Before the AI writes anything, Seed Scroll looks up the relevant verses and reference entries itself, using ordinary search: matching words, references, topics and cross-references. Those passages go to the model as its only sources, together with what you asked or submitted, and it is told to answer from them alone and not add facts from memory. We give it the material rather than teach it new beliefs.
The material comes from:
- the King James Version, with Strong's Concordance numbering (the Reina-Valera 1909 for Spanish chapter questions)
- Matthew Henry's commentary and the Jamieson-Fausset-Brown commentary
- Easton's and Smith's Bible dictionaries
Licensed translations, such as the Cepher editions, are never sent to an AI provider.
The one time our server goes online for you is when you paste a link to build a study, such as a web page or a YouTube video. The server then reads that one page or video. AI features do need an internet connection, because each request goes to a server.
